Student Winners – June 2017

After every event we ask the healthcare professionals and moderators to select the students who stood out for them; the students they thought asked the best questions, or engaged most in the live chats.

There were so many interesting questions, and comments, but there could only be one winner in the General Practice Zone. So, for fantastic engagement during the event and for posting brilliant questions and comments, the winner below will receive a certificate and a gift voucher. Well done to the student winner, and everyone who took part.

To all the I’m a Medic participants, students and organisers, Thank you!! What an absolute honour to have been chosen as your winner. It was a brilliant event and even more so when I shockingly found out I had won! I think I can speak on behalf of all the professionals who engaged in this project by thanking you, the students, for such thought-provoking and interesting questions! It was often busy but you were really patient (no pun intended!) especially those students who were waiting for me to come back from a crash call. I really enjoyed the whole 2 week process and am thrilled to be … Continue reading

What’s been happening in I’m a Medic this June

The six healthcare professionals talking to the students in the General Practice Zone include a Practice Nurse, General Practioners, a Practice Manager and a Nurse Practitioner.

New design for I’m a Medic

We’re about to launch our new site design. We’re going to make it live for the June event, and you will get to see it in situ. So next time you log in things might look a bit different. For the past few months we have been working in the background to develop a new look for our site to make it a bit more modern, a lot better on mobile devices and and much easier for us to update. We’re still testing before going live on a site with an event so if you spot anything that looks rubbish or even worse doesn’t work, please email and let us know there’s a problem. Send an email to emily@mangorol.la with a URL, screenshot and what you think isn’t right. It would be much appreciated.
